Hello again everyone and today I would like to apologize.. I have not been uploading the past couple of weeks and I have been rather busy but that's not the reason I wasn't uploading. I stopped uploading for two reasons really.

1. Over the last couple of weeks I was uploading for the only followers I had amounted were friends from school who most of them didn't even read my blog

2. I wasn't really getting the feel that blogging was for me :/ I felt like it was a chore that I had to do it but now recently I have got back in the groove and I have loads of ideas!

I am going to start uploading again (YAY) and there will be 3 (!) uploads today. I am going to carry on as I said I would in my first upload. So I hope you enjoy my blog and tell your friends :)

Factual Friday

09:22 Posted by Unknown No comments
Hello again everyone and welcome back to Factual Friday! This week on Factual Friday we have ten facts all about CRAZY LAWS. Enjoy :)

1. In Iceland it is illegal to infringe on the property of magical creatures and in 2013 elf advocacy group halted the construction of a large highway project due to the potential impact on elves along the route and a recent survey in Iceland found 62% believe it's possible that elves exist.

2. In Oklahoma, USA, you can be fined, arrested or jailed for making ugly faces at a dog. Dogs however must have a permit signed by the mayor in order to congregate in groups of three or more on a private property.

3. Chewing gum is completely illegal in Singapore since 1992, there is also a ban on importing chewing gum into Singapore, except for nicotine gum but you can only get it from a doctor with a prescription.

4. Singapore is full of crazy laws apart from chewing gum, did you know it is also illegal in Singapore to urinate in a lift, walk around the house naked and not flushing a public loo?

5. Hong Kong has a law that allows the wife to kill her cheating husband. The only drawback is that she can only do it with her bare hands.

6. By a very old law in England it’s illegal to consume mince pie on Christmas Day. They were banned in the 17th century as an effort to tackle the gluttony. It has never been rescinded, so it is still illegal.

7. In 2013, China passed a law that legally requires children to visit their parents “often” and attend to their parent’s “spiritual needs”. However “often” is indeed a subjective term.
In France, you can’t name your pig Napoleon because it’s an affront to its noble human counterpart, Napoleon Bonaparte.

8. In Minnesota, USA, it is against the law to hang female and male underwear together on the same washing line.

9. In the city of York, Britain, if a Scotsman is carrying a bow and arrow, you are allowed to murder him within the ancient city walls.

10. In Iowa, USA, it’s illegal to kiss a woman in public if you own a big mustache on your face and in Cedar Rapids, Iowa it is illegal for women to kiss their husbands on a Sunday.

Thank-You for taking the time to read through this blog and I hope you enjoyed. If you like this post or any other of my posts then please follow the blog to keep up with all the latest stuff and show your appreciation by leaving a comment down below! Tune In On Sunday For More

Turbulence Tuesday

12:25 Posted by Unknown No comments
Well hello again everybody and welcome to the first edition of Turbulence Tuesday. This will hopefully be a weekly thing where I will talk about a random subject related to nothing at all using this random topic generator. Enjoy! Today we shall be talking about decisions you like to put off.

As everyone in life I have things that I like to put off or if its extreme -like talking to a girl that I like- sometimes just not do it at all. This is really bad as I have learned by actually talking to this person every once in a while. Alot of the time people who put these types of things off should really just count to three, then do it, this helps alot as it stops you from over thinking things like I do. Now I will talk about things that people put off everyday:

1. Talking to pretty girls
Everyone does this at some point of the day especially if you have feelings for this person. You could be standing across the room from them but all you would do is awkwardly stare at them for an hour and not actually end up saying a word to them. This could be avoided by actually just going up to her. Don't over think the situation just walk up to her and say hello, ask her about how she is, whats been going on in her life and if you run out of topics just look around for one.

2.Pursuing Your Dreams
This one isn't as common but can be very bad for you if this happens to you. Sometimes when someone has a 'dream' or life goal that they think their friends or people in their class may find stupid, funny or just unobtainable then people will put aside these dreams and go on a different life course.

This happened to me during year 8. In year 8 I was totally unfocused and quite rude and disrupting really but I wanted to be an Astrophysicist. When I told someone about this they just laughed and I acted like it was a joke. So I never told anyone else until about halfway through year 9 after I became top of the class in my Sciences and people asked me what I wanted to do. I regret ever keeping this back as people could have helped me get back on track quicker than it took me to.

My advice is never to keep your dreams back, if you have dreams never keep them quiet, always tell people so they can help you.

3. Standing Up For Yourself
This is probably one of the biggest things in adulthood and childhood. Alot of the time people just act like it's just a bit of banter and play but the other people around you can always see if it's meant to be spiteful or not but they will never tell you. Always look out for yourself and for your friends as you or they may be getting bullied but maybe not even realizing it.

If you do realize it then don't try to tuck it away inside let it out, tell someone, doesn't have to be an adult but maybe a friend so they can stand up to this person next time they do something like this. Bullying is not nice at all and personally it disgusts me when someone is getting bullied and they pretend like it's not happening because they bully gets away with it.

Even in adulthood you can get bullied by your work colleagues and sometimes even your bosses. Even though this is a rarer occurrence it still helps to be open about these things, tell your superiors and get these people seen to so they don't bother you or anyone else again.

Don’t Regret It, Instead Do It

There is never enough time to do it all.
Stop putting these things off today.
Do what you need to do. And what you have been meaning to do.
You might not get another chance.
Question: What’s on your list? What are you putting off?

Thank-You for reading this week and hope you enjoyed!

Science Sunday

08:36 Posted by Unknown No comments
Hello again everyone and have you ever wondered where the man in the moon came from? Was it asteroids, comets, meteorites? Well actually it was none of the above. Scientists have found out that it was actually something that you would not expect...

A team using NASA's Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) has discovered that the trademark lunar topography is actually due to a massive ancient plume of magma. The research was led by Maria Zuber of MIT and the results were published in Nature with Jeff Andrews-Hanna as the first author.

Zuber's team analyzed data obtained by two probes during the GRAIL mission in 2012. Variations in the density of the lunar surface caused very slight dips in gravity, which caused one probe to slow down and the second one to slightly catch up. When the trailing probe passed over the same area, it also slowed down. These various differences in distance between the probes were recorded, charting where variations in the gravitational field were. The probes mapped the entire lunar surface using this inchworm-like method.

The Procellarum region is a not quite circular area almost as wide as the United States. Topography readings made it a fairly plausible assumption that the moon was struck by a massive asteroid, with smaller collisions occurring later, deforming the large crater's circular shape. However, gravity field readings have indicated that the crater isn't circular at all; it has sharp 120-degree angles that rule out an asteroid collision.

“A lot of things in science are really complicated, but I’ve always loved to answer simple questions,” Zuber said in a press release. “How many people have looked up at the moon and wondered what produced the pattern we see — let me tell you, I’ve wanted to solve that one!”

Instead, Zuber and her team believe that a large plume of magma built up beneath the surface of the moon. This pressure caused the surface to crack and the magma to cool at the surface, forming the sharp angles that are seen around the basin. These giant tension cracks then formed a network, which Zuber referred to as a "plumbing system" for magma within the moon, providing access to the surface.

In order to thoroughly investigate the origin of this magma plume, the researchers believe it might require a specialized mission by a probe able to take seismic and heat readings from far below the lunar surface.

Well thank-you all for taking the time to read through and if you like then follow for weekly updates on Science and more!

Factual Friday

09:50 Posted by Unknown No comments
Hopefully I will be able to keep up from now on. Anyway this week we will be looking at ten facts about THE UNIVERSE. Enjoy :)

1. Almost every element in your body was made in an exploding star.

2. Each of a tarsier’s eyeballs is as big as its brain.

3. There are about 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms in a human body. Thats 7 Octillion! (Alot)

4. There’s a gas cloud in the constellation of Aquila that contains enough alcohol to make 400 trillion trillion pints of beer. (Not Quite Carling)

5. The Milky Way has four spiral arms, not two.

6. You can listen to what interstellar space sounds like. (Click The Link Its Worth A Listen)

 7. Our first ancestor to walk on land was a four-legged fish called Tiktaalik.

8. There are roughly 2 pints of water in every cubic foot of soil on Mars.

10. If you removed all the empty space from the atoms that make up all the humans on Earth, the remaining mass could fit inside a sugar cube.

Well Thank-You for staying and reading this week's factual Friday and stay followed if you aren't already for this and more!
